Privacy Policy

About this policy

Kept Staffed places a dedicated, trained assistant with a business owner. We run the site at https://keptstaffed.com. The address getkeptstaffed.com only sends you to that site.

This policy explains what we collect when you visit the site or contact us through it. It also explains why we collect it and what choices you have.

In short:

  • We collect what you send us in the form, plus details about your visit.
  • We use it to respond to you and to run our business.
  • The site does not sell your information or send it to advertisers.
  • You can ask to see, correct or delete your information.

This policy covers the site and people who contact us through it. It does not cover the work our assistants do for clients, such as handling job applicant details. That work is covered by a separate client agreement.

What you give us

When you send the form, we collect what you enter:

  • Your name
  • Your business name
  • Your phone number
  • Your email address
  • Your industry
  • Your biggest hiring problem
  • Anything else you add

The box called Anything else is optional. Please do not put sensitive details in it, such as Social Security numbers, bank details or health information.

If you email, call or text us, we receive what you send and the contact details that come with it.

What the site records with your form

When you send the form, the site also records some details about your visit:

  • The address of the page you were on, including any tags in the link you followed
  • The website that referred you to us
  • Ad campaign tags from the link you followed, which show us the ad or link that brought you here
  • The plan you clicked on before you reached the form
  • Your browser and device type
  • Your country, which Cloudflare, our hosting provider, works out from your IP address
  • The date and time you sent the form
  • The result of the security check
  • A record number and internal status details

We do not save your IP address with your form. Cloudflare and the security check do handle it. The next section explains how.

If the form is rejected, we do not save it. That happens when a field is not valid or the security check fails.

What happens when you browse

You can read the site without sending the form. Even then, this happens:

  • Hosting. The site is hosted by Cloudflare. Cloudflare handles every visit to the site. That includes your IP address, your browser type, the page you asked for and the page you came from.
  • Page statistics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and measure page speed. It receives the page address, a random ID for each page load, load times, memory use, and your browser and operating system versions. Cloudflare states that it also records the website that referred you and your country. Cloudflare states that it discards your IP address and uses no cookies or local storage for this. It also states that it does not fingerprint visitors. Fingerprinting means using technical details to pick out one visitor.
  • Security check. The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which helps tell people from bots. It loads when you get close to the form, before you send anything. It collects technical details about your browser and connection, including your IP address.
  • Error reports. If your browser cannot connect to the site, it may send a report about the failed connection to Cloudflare.

You can also reach us by email or phone without using the form.

Cookies and browser storage

A cookie is a small file a website saves in your browser. Our own code does not set cookies, and that includes advertising and tracking cookies.

Cloudflare, our hosting provider, can set a security cookie in some cases. One example is when it needs to check that a visitor is a real person.

Two things do use your browser's storage:

  • Session storage. This is a space in your browser that clears when you close the tab. You may arrive through a link with campaign tags, or from another website. If so, the site keeps those tags and the referring page there. They stay until you close the tab or your form is sent. The site sends what is kept there only with your form. Page statistics are separate. They can still record the website that referred you.
  • Local storage. This is a space in your browser that stays after you close the tab. The security check keeps a small item there, under Cloudflare's own address. The site cannot read it. It does not expire, so it can stay until it is cleared.

You can clear cookies and browser storage in your browser settings at any time.

Ads and tracking

The site has no advertising pixels and no trackers from social media or ad companies. Fonts and images are served from the site itself.

Our own code does not respond to Do Not Track or similar browser signals. The site does not track what you do on other websites. It does record the website that referred you.

How we use your information

We use this information:

  • To respond to your request and set up your intake call
  • To understand your business and which plan may fit
  • To see which ads and links bring people to the site
  • To protect the form from spam and abuse
  • To keep the site working and measure page views and speed
  • To keep business records and meet our legal duties

Calls, texts and email

If you send the form, we may call, text or email you about your request. We use the phone number and email address you gave us.

You can stop calls, texts and emails at any time:

  • Texts. Reply and ask us to stop.
  • Email. Reply and ask us to stop.
  • Calls. Tell us on the call, or email [email protected].

You can also tell us in any other reasonable way, and we will stop.

Who we share it with

The site does not sell your information or send it to advertisers.

People who work with Kept Staffed and have access to our accounts can see your request.

We use service providers to run the site and to talk with you. They handle information to provide their services to us. Their own terms and privacy policies also apply.

  • Cloudflare. It hosts the site, runs the form, stores form requests in its database, runs the security check and provides page statistics. Cloudflare also uses the technical details from the security check for its own purpose, to improve its bot detection. Its own privacy policy covers that use.
  • Microsoft 365. It is our email provider. It handles email between you and us.
  • Our phone provider. It handles calls and texts between you and us.

We may also use service providers to tell our team when a new request arrives.

We may also share information in these cases:

  • When a law, a court order or a government request requires it
  • To protect the rights, safety or property of Kept Staffed, our clients or others

If Kept Staffed is sold or merged, your information may pass to the new owner.

Where it is stored

Form requests are stored in a database run by Cloudflare, in its Eastern North America region. Cloudflare runs a global network, so visits to the site may be handled in other locations.

How long we keep it

We have not set a fixed time limit for keeping form requests. They stay in our database until we delete them.

You can ask us to delete yours at any time. The next section explains how.

When we delete a form request, Cloudflare may keep a copy that can be restored for a limited time.

Emails you send us stay in our email account until we delete them. We have not set a fixed time limit for those either. Page statistics are kept by Cloudflare under its own rules.

Your choices

You can ask us to:

  • Show you the information we hold about you
  • Correct it
  • Delete it
  • Stop contacting you

To ask for any of these, email [email protected] or call (845) 252-3012. Tell us the name, phone number or email address you used on the form, so we can find your form request. We may ask you to confirm some details so we know it is you.

Depending on where you live, the law may give you more rights. You can ask for any of the things above wherever you live.

Security

Your browser connects to the site over a secure connection (HTTPS). The form has a security check and other spam controls. The site cannot show form requests to visitors. Form requests are kept in our hosting account. It takes a sign-in to read them there.

No website or database is perfectly secure. We cannot promise that information will never be accessed, lost or misused. If you think your information is at risk, contact us.

Children

The site is for business owners and managers. It is not meant for children.

We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Visitors outside the United States

If you contact us from another country, your information may be handled in the United States. It may also be handled in other places where we or our service providers operate.

Other websites and companies

The site names other companies, such as job ad platforms, and it may link to other websites. We do not control them. Their own privacy policies cover what they do with your information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site or our practices change. We will post the new version on this page and change the effective date at the top.
